The contents of this folder are dedicated to beer mats and their new role in furthering the public understanding of science, life and the Universe

They comprise (1) a PowerPoint presentation of beermats (as illustrated) bearing questions of a scientific and pub related nature, such as the above and:-

Put a handful of ice cubes in a pint glass. Add water till the ice floats. Wait until the ice melts. Will the level of the water (a) rise (b) fall or (c) stay the same?

and (2) 'Questions and Answers', a document in PDF giving the answers to all of the questions in this quiz and brief summaries of the underlying science.
