The First Edition of 'C3,C4, Mechanisms, and Cellular and Environmental Regulation of Photosynthesis', by Gerry Edwards and David Walker, was once a book on the shelf of every self-respecting ecologist, botanist, plant physiologist and plant biochemist (see preface). Sadly, the First Edition is long since out of print and unobtainable except for a handful of treasured copies rescued from some dark archive by Michael Packard of Packard Publishing from whom the last few copies on paper can still be purchased, while they last, for a mere £30.

As it name will suggest to those who are familiar with Cromwell's oft repeated demand (for it to be done "warts and all") this version is less than elegant having been, perforce, laboriously transcribed into PDF, page by page, from the original.
